A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a maternity leave contract from January 5th, 2026, to March 27th, 2026, serving K-12 students. This opportunity is located in Bothell, WA, within a supportive school district environment. The role involves working primarily at an elementary school and participating on the early childhood Child Find team, providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 27 students.
- Conduct assessments and provide intervention for children with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Participate in the early childhood Child Find team to identify and evaluate young children in need of services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington State SLP License required.
- Endorsement as a Speech-Language Pathologist (ESA) for schools.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in-person within a collaborative educational environment.
